Haberdashery Cabinet

Manufactured by Dudley and Co Ltd, Holloway, London N7, 1940's.

Sourced from shop clearance in Oxford, England.

This tall cabinet has three glass fronted doors, that slide up and over. Each has a new brass handle. 18 wooden drawers, 6 per section, each has a small piece ivory inlaid into the front. The bottom has 6 drawers, all with original wooden handles.

We have put a new back on the piece, but left the sides the original green colour, which in some sections is a little flakey but we think it adds to the original look. 

The unit has been completely cleaned and lightly sanded, then given a clear wax.

Its a fabulous piece! Would look great in a retail space, or in the bedroom or dressing room.
